I've not yet, extremely tempted but reading around on a couple of other forums I've heard there are a few issues atm (hanging, glitches etc) I'm gonna hold out a little longer before making the plunge.

Installed Mountain Lion yesterday. No problems so far. Everything runs smoothly on my (mid 2011) MacBook Air. All third party plugins seem to work fine too.

I've upgrade and everything is fine. Upgrade away. There aren't many functional changes between Lion and Mountain Lion. Its similar to the Leopard to Snow Leopard upgrade hence the continuation of the "Lion" aspect of the name. Little is done in the way of how the computer processes or understands information. Its mostly a slew of new apps and functionalities for workflow.

What about upgrading from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion? I've been thinking about upgrading but I thought my plugins would have some trouble since it just came out. Safe?

Nah I have been through 4 OS updates with the same plug-ins working fine! Just make sure you have your licenses ect... safe in case.

Purchased Mountain lion and its running smoothly on my hackintosh thus far! (although the installation process differs from the legit macs)

Update, I've just made the jump, must admit everything is running a lot smoother than I imagined. Really feeling the updates to the cloud and IOS and whatnot.

Logic so far isn't giving me any issues. :4:

Word of caution for Traktor users, make sure to get the latest drivers before playing out. Otherwise you are not going to have fun at all :a:

Im tempted to upgrade, but i don't really use my mac for anything other than Logic and i switch off all the dashboard/launchpad bollocks, so is there any need ?

Id much prefer to downgrade to snow leopard, because iv got a Focusrite Liquid Mix 32 sat in my room and it isn't compatible with Lion :u:
