Two things;

1: Resampling is over rated.

2: Skrillex probably doesn't even do most of his own production.

Have you explored all the possibilities of resampling? Why do you think that it is overrated? Im still not sold on it but I am still learning about it.

Certainly less resampling involving that some like to think. If the source of the sound is not good the sound will never be good. So the patch on FM8 had to be good as it without FX before the extra FX.

i think its completely true.


When the song drops it pitches down growl, then the screech when the snare hits. Then the next growly sound, sounds like it says "Only god can stop me" layered over the bassline.

he played guitar then vocals in from first to last, got kicked because he was high all the time, toured solo, had a project with hollywood undead that I don't remember the name, started doing edm using his own name, then skrillex.
