Damn, now that i have Massive, i dont know if i could go back to just using Abletons analog, collision, and operator. Still use em for some stuff but most of my new sounds now are from massive.

ive never used any of abletons synths, only its effects and drum rack. all of my sounds are either samples or from a plugin

I dont think so. I used to stick to build in effects/synths, after i started using massive my whole production style and sound changed.

Massive allows you to modulate so easily. You can simply assign a modulator to anything... and control the modulator.. Very efficiently.
Massive also has many different waveforms to choose from. There are many features of massive which are not available in a lot of build in synths.. Unless you are just using sample banks. The synths are not so over rated.. And effects?!?! camelphat and sausage fattner (the only two effects i work with on the regular) add so much to the sound, you could not achieve the same thing with build in effects, at least in ableton.

the power of operator. its the only synth i use during my projects. i have seperate days for synthesizing with tyrell n6 which is the only other synth i use. not to say i wouldnt use massive if i had the money
