PeriKardium - Going Places (Electrohouse/Complextro)
So this is my second track that I have put time and energy into. I am improving in overall technique, but I am still new and learning the ropes ahaha! I have noticed that SC does a weird distortion of just ONE of my sounds that plays in the track... Which is strange, so it is up'd as a 320 mp3 so you can DL a better quality version if you'd like. I appreciate any and all feedback, thanks guys.

Hey, this sounds really good man! So, some of my thoughts? I think those vocals before the drop, starting at 0:45 could be louder, they sound really cool. I feel like the sub bass could be louder overall. Love those parts, like at 1:33 and again 2:03, I'd be looking at ways to do more stuff like that, change the drum pattern etc. for frequently. Also, I think the song goes on for too long... it's a great track but I feel like if it was shorter and to the point like 2:30 to 3:00 max, it would be a killer! You could even mix up those two main parts to make one? Just some idea's. Awesome work though, you must be proud of this

Yea, good tips right here! I won;t be touching this track anymore though, if I continually edit it I won't progress anywhere with my production skill ahah. BUT YES the length, this is something I need to pay attention to as I work on stuff, I tend to make things too long! As well, yes I should try to change up the pattern so it isn't always four to the floor, something to spice it up in the middle.Chriis wrote:Hey, this sounds really good man! So, some of my thoughts? I am proud I suppose. I mean not in an arrogant 'I am teh best yea" but in a sense that this track I feel, for me anyways, shows my seriousness in producing. I really like it, and I really like working on it, and I know with time I will get better - maybe even to the point that someone might use my stuff in mixes or something xD
