Is there money in cheap vinyl postage packaging?
I'm sure like many of you on this forum, i never have quite enough cash to fund my ever growing musical addiction. It kinda sucks wanting to buy a new vinyl or headphones or other tech shit and not quite being able to afford it. So i thought i'd create a little brainstorming thread which could conjure up ingenious, low cost ways of making a little cash on the side.
I had an idea about selling cheap vinyl postage packaging. It would seem the current boom in sales of black crack has left people, like myself, selling and buying vinyls from all ends of the earth, yet i can't ever seem to find a reasonable package to post them in. Boom, in i step with my close friend ebay and take the packaging market by storm offering reasonable prices on reasonable packaging for the reasonable consumer. I've had a gander round the web and i cant see anyone else doing this so it may be worth a shot.
If it doesn't work i'll just sell NOS or some shit.
What you reckon?

Re: Is there money in...
Don't think it would be a good idea, I've never had an issue with how vinyl is packaged

i've never had a problem with finding cheap record mailers. as with most things you need to buy in bulk to get a decent price

now, what would be a good idea is making affordable vinyl storage/transport boxes. nothing seems to exist that's the right size, is stackable, and isn't ridiculously expensive

I've made 600 quid selling fifa coins this year, that's some nice on-the-side money.

I've been renting my spare room for witchcraft and satanic ritual
Re: Is there money in...
Not a bad idea, even some record stores make crappy folder like packaging for vinyls.
Definitely money in it, but probably hard to market it.
Maybe some other material than cardboard?
