Hmm.. At your drop, I think that bass pad, for me at least, is a bit overpowering. The intro is a bit lacking, and the transition into that stand alone synth part before the drop is a bit awkward. I would say for that synth, instead of just introducing it as is, filter it. High pass or low pass, but have that filter gradually die off as it gets closer to the standalone section, so but the time it's there you have the synth well introduced cleanly and smoothly, giving it the presence. I also think on top of that standalone part you could maybe continue the high hat riff, or make a fairly sparse one for it. Another note for the drop part, the sparse beat itself seems out of place for that section. I personally think the sparser beats should be pushed more towards the end as a phrase is finished.

Just my opinion. I do like the direction, dark and fluidly... is fluidly a word? Now it is.

With the high or low pass do you mean start with a low or high frequency and then make it sort of cleaner as it builds into the drop? And I looked it up it totally is a word, well a form of the word fluid.

Sorry for the late reply! Got busy with fam jam stuff.

Ys exactly that, or even something as simple as a volume increase. Increase it's presence over time until it hits that stand alone area!
