Like Huty said there is already a dedicated sc for the 48 hour contest, dsfcomp. Most of the winners are archived there, but not all as I had to delete the first few due the lack of minutes to upload tunes for the contest a few months ago where we had like 20+ entries. I do like the idea of having 1 sc for all the contests, not so much using it as a showcase/promotion. The dsf youtube failed misserably more than once, but kudos if you can make it work though.

I'm up for giving the archiving/comp sc a try, we have only 3 comps (sample, 48 hour & potluck) on here so it shouldn't be hard to organize/setup. Keep me up to date if you decide to go through with it Wub.

Ok, do you have the winners still stored that you had to delete? In case we need to rebuild the archive for the missing one.

It'd have to be through some sort of nomination process I guess if we used it as a showcase...people nominate tunes (NOT their own) and then we maybe have a quick vote each month on which tune goes in for the showcase etc. Not sure how well it'd work in practice, but maybe trial for a couple of months and if it's not working scale it back to just the contests.

Unfortunately no, the first few are from the time Huty was running it, chances are slim but he may still have them? And tbh I also don't have the ones from when I began running it (old pc, lack of HD space  ), but those are still up, but can only be downloaded when the account gets upgraded to a paid one. I'm up for contacting the winners since I was running it if it would be necessary though.

Fair play ;-)
