This thread is fucking hilarious. On a serious note just lay down a patch of duct tape sticky side up in front of your monitor.

I thought so too and I thought I had made peace with the spiders in my apartment until one bit me on my lower eyelid while I was sleeping.

This happened like a month ago and my lower eyelid is still swollen with a small bag (like baggy eyes or whatevs) and you can still see the fang mark. And that eyelid keeps twitching.

The truce may be off.
Hey maybe he thought you looked exhausted lately and just wanted to get you a couple of days off work or something. I've been bit before but didn't break out luckily. I did have to evict him after that though, banished to the attic. A little too close to the bed... there's boundaries of course.

But they have millions of tiny hairs that pick up millions of tiny vibrations...

Spread insect killer (powder) over anywhere where the spider could have gotten in. Hopefully the spider will come in contact with some of it and die. The you can use a vacuum to clear the powder and spider's dead body.

They sense vibration when somethings caught in their web.

I haven't seen the motherfucker since I made this thread. The only reason I know he's still in there is because I keep blow out bits of web every morning. If I end up taking it apart I'll take see if I can catch the guy.

Can't believe you're actually considering dismantling your monitor just to get a spider out

I think what you need to do is find out what a spider's resonant frequency is and go from there.

Epic thread!

I sincerely hope in few weeks you shoot pics here of you with the spider enjoying chill soft drink together, as good flat mate.
