I did chemistry too, but I don't think I would be able to do the stuff Walter does. Some of the stuff he talks about in the show is very advanced stuff - enantiomeric selection, dynamic temperature filtration. I was well impressed by the research the writers have obviously put into making this as legit as possible - even down to colouring the meth he makes blue as a result of the reduction and coupled oxidation of the aluminium catalyst.BLAHBLAHJAH wrote:Yes it is a pencil drawing. Starting up an art + drawing service based business. Hard work, but at the end of most mornings it feels like I'm getting there. Using smaller jobs such as this to hopefully fund the growth. Perhaps slight irony in my using of Breaking Bad art considering i gone did chemistry at uni and could just go and fucking do the real art of Walter White(don't tempt me!)

It's great cos you can see the P2P is made from the phenyl acetate (either that or he asked for phenyl acetone which IS p2p but I can't remember the episode well enough, but I'm guessing they start with the acetate as they use CO2 which suggests some kind of oxidative reduction based around the catalyst) that Jesse asks for in the Cartel lab, the methylamine and even the catalyst!

Things he was playing were like Big L, wutang, and brotha lynch hung
Then I look up bassnectar on YouTube and its all super shitty.. Shame, he's pretty good on the decks but he chooses to play/produce bullshit the majority of the time

So maybe it will keep going if the ratings are high, which is cool as long as they don't compromise the storyline.
Re: BREAKING BAD!!!!!
How I think it will end, by Gareth Thomas, aged 22 & 1/4.
Walt will die of cancer. It's the premise the whole show was built on, and it will give him a way out of cooking, which I don't think he would ever have taken unless he was caught/died.
Either just before/just after Walt dies, Hank will finally work out that Walt is Heisenberg, and will be torn between taking the credit for catching one of the country's most prolific drug manufacturers and the guy he's been looking for since the start of the show or protecting Skylar, Walt Jr. and their money. He'll keep it to himself, I think.
Mike will be dead. Jesse will be long gone to some far away land.
In more short term events, I can't see Todd lasting very long. My bet is that Jesse will kill him. There was absolutely no reason to kill the kid. They had it planned so that nobody would even notice there was a robbery, so they wouldn't report it to the police, so they wouldn't end up going near the weigh-station and looking for witnesses. Sure, the kid could've said that he saw weird guys at the train, but by then they'd be long gone.
Lydia is going to try and majorly fuck things up for Walt, Jesse and Mike.
Skylar is still really annoying, and needs to decide where she sits on this. Either she hates Walt and wants nothing to do with him, and abandons all his income, the car wash that was bought with his income, etc. or she gets behind and supports him.
Jesse has gone from being the least likeable person during series 3 and 4 to the most likeable in series 5.
