thank you for pointing that out in such an understanding, respectful manner
yeah thats treadwell alright. grizzly man was interesting, but it was so weird, i threw it away. im sure herzog's other films are great tho.

herzog makes films that dance the line between documentary and narrative, and sometiimes they come off as full on docs.
morris makes docs.

Ye canny mention Herzog without mentioning Klaus Kinski. A marriage made in heaven.
Fitzcarraldo is truly an amazing film, the documentary of the filming of it may well trump it, but it is magical none the less. The shot when the boat crests the hill is simply immense. It always makes me want to smoke salvia, every time i see it..

fortunately for us, robards and mick jagger were unable to complete the film.
i saw a clip of some of the coverage herzog got before they left and it was awful in comparison to kinski's magic
