For summers some old lo Pumas (I don't skate with them)

As a skater I ruin my shoes in 9 or 10 weeks, I bought a few pairs black and pink Lakai Koston (éS Koston 1 reedition) pairs for real cheap (the color isn't so manly so it was impossible to sell I guess). As a teen, these were >100$ per pair, now I get'em for 15-20$ on ebay. Nice deal.

I have a pair of Nike SB Stefan Janoski. I skate them atleast 4 times a week and they've lasted me almost 5 months now. Before I had pair of tres and those lasted me over a year. What the f are you doin to those thing to shorten their life span so dramatically?

Hook me up with some cheap skate shoe shop/ebay site. I too wreck shoes in no time at all, doesn't help that I can only really skate in low profile/simple stuff now. CANNOT afford to be laying down £60 every couple months.

I change my decks pretty often too! so griptape is often new and pretty harsh. I'm not braking.

I had some Nike SB PRod, it was pretty amazing, I've been skating them for about 3 or 4 months and they're still skate-able. It was an exception though.
I think Lakai (late 90's/00's style) are pretty weak, very confortable, but weak.
the "undestructable" skate shoes thing is pretty recent, fit/little shoes goes much longer (and are cheaper) than the badass big foamy Globe/DC style I was talking about.

@wubstep : I get'em from maxitaille and vicenzosportwear on ebay (they're from France, so shipment might be a pain, but if you ask kindly, and get many items at once, they keep it low), sometimes they have nothing for weeks, sometimes colors are fugly, so just check it from time to time.
I would also advise to lace them pretty tight, so the grip touch mostly the sole... and try to put some glue/shoogoo/allstar gum/... on the ollie area, before they have holes.
