I've heard that before from mates i used to respect, i just don't get it.

Their music to me just sounds like the absolute definition of novelty metal, on a par with limp bizkit and papa roach. Am i missing something?

I'm not very well versed in metal, or rock/pop/non-electronic stuff in general to be honest, maybe why i like them, they're probably just more accessible for me. But saying they're on par with Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach is a bit much.

The first 2 albums are absolutely sick in my book. After that they're a bit hit and miss for me!

Yeah, Toxicity especially, one of the most enjoyable albums i've ever heard. But like i said, don't really listen to much non-electronic stuff. Although i really like Hypnotize/Mesmorize loads too. Steal This Album is a bit bleh.

Don't remotely see how you can't see a difference between System of A Down and Limp Bizkit or Papa Roach.

They are actually quite good and creative (at least on the first two albums anyway, the others aren't very good). Not amazing but good enough to actually listen to

Yeah, I've had a little listen, I'm not particularly fussed by it, doesn't stand out as something amazing to me, especially not at that price for the vinyl.

Who was it that said it would be the "album of our generation"? Sure it was a producer.

Like, i haven't even been fussed enough to listen to the previews apart from Calle F/ Cuba Electronic. I like the fact it's being made and all and he has another album but ... meh.
