yeah my ears are trashed, gutted i forgot the earplugs. Nursing a fat bass hangover but well happy tho - it was an amazing night, shame the camera packed it in too, cos at the end it just looked incredible with the all room just brockin out.

and yeah you best get working on those visuals boy!

Great night. Thankfully I managed to catch most of Kode9's set - came in just as he dropped 'Magnetic City' 8) . The tinnitus was worth it!

Sounds big. I'm there on the 20th in Kyoto.

By the way, anyone know why Kode has the kanji 革(がわ - leather) on his Myspace, the Back to Chill poster above, etc.? Is it actually a Chinese language character, rather than a Japanese one? Can't see why he'd think leather is cool....

that kanji means something else in chinese. we were talking about it tonight, it means revolution or a snake shedding its skin.

I hope a Chinese speaker told him that! I looked up the Chinese and got the translation: leather, remove.

Ouch what a night.

Out ot Kode9 for a deep set and killing the place with poison dart at the end, just sick.

Out to Goth and Rumi for a tight set. It is refreshing to see an MC with such natural skill and Goth providing the beats perfectly. As a side note Big ups Goth's tunes getting caned last night, old and new, Respect to the Tokyo Bass Maestro!

Out to the club's staff and sound crew, the system was fat and really clean, lolz at my bag movin locations on the floor during the night due to bass pressure.

Out to Laurent, nice set and always good to have a chat with you mate- SKENG!

Out to the BTC crew you guys are the best, Kaji always gives me a laugh and SKE and 百窓's set at the end was great.

And finally Big ups to all the Tokyo dubstep soldiers who came down last night.

Skeng was the tune in Kyoto - had to pull that one up at the end. Bug was good, not sure about his anti-DJ style though like...

Had to leave after Kode 9 (finished 4:15) cos I had work in the morning, although I actually felt much better than usual when I have to get up early - bass effect!

Excellent stuff. Kode9 killed it once again. Finally saw daylight around 6am and had to drag my sorry, hungover, sleep-deprived ass into work for 10. Ouch.

it was a great night. The small atmosphere was pretty cool. Goth-Trad and Kper were awesome. I was pretty excited to see kode9 for the first time and he definitely did not disappoint. It was cool because the stage was low and the room was small so it was a really personal set.
It was cool that he played that track "backwards", very cool song.

Anyways, it was fun and this has been a great month for dubstep in Tokyo.

ouch... my head is still reeling a bit from that night... 24h straight with a cold and lack of sleep for a week previous is definitely not something i want to contemplate again for a long time. It was so worth it tho.

Large those who rolled to work after saturday night, there was no way i could have faced that, went home and called in sick.

Night was sick, all im gonna say is SKENG cos that about sums it up. and sums up the entire kode 9 and bug tour as well, lol.

Much love and respect to all the BTC crew: kaji, ske, hyaku mado, goth trad and diagram for another bangin night. By far the best night i've had in ages.
Large up the nine, rumi, jess (skankin queen of the night) and san san maru as well and all the people i met. And the venue was sweet as, it was all truly bless.

glad people enjoyed the set - it's always a pleasure playing with goth, especially when its his turn and i can sit back and see him do his thing. dude just kills it everytime - 3 deck mixes ftw this time, i was like :o .

got a bunch of pics and some vids (tho i think audio isnt so good) so will up them soonish. for now i need to sleep proper for a few days.

roll on the anniversary next month!
