For real some of you cant even reach 10?

I'm not trying to sound like a bigman, haha! I'm just surprised, seeing as I teach 7-13 year olds Taekwondo, and doing 20 for them is standard!

The fitness levels on this site seem piss-poor.

I can literally rip your head off though. So fuck what if I can't do a push up?

If joeki is strong enough to rip my head off I bet he's slow as fuck because of all that bulk.
Try to catch me fucker.

Am I being silly, or do those work your triceps quite a lot too? Compared to a standard push up, looks a bit like the relationship between a standard bench press and a close grip bench press.

I am slowish. Not slow. But there's no bulk needed. There is a special twisting technique.

Ah ok man, must be a weird angle, proper looks like an inverted close grip bench (If ever there was an exercise that you don't really feel when you're doing it until the very last couple, it's that one).

Yeah man these are quite nasty, I can only do a few though - I think my technique is pretty poor though as I've had some minor trouble with my right shoulder in the past so I think I'm over compensating with my left arm.

I also vote this for most retarded thread in the last two days. I bet half of the people who post here somewhat seriously have never got the living shit kicked out of them before. I have. And push ups aren't going to save you then. It's fitness douchebag bullshit. Go running for fucks sake.

For the record I can do at least 20 without handles and only going to arms at 90 degrees with no sweat but since i'm going to continue to use handles and go nose to ground i'm going to stick with the 6 said originally. Plus i'm doing them fully and slowly, none of this fast, half a press up nonsense.

Plus i can literally rip Joekis head off so beware.

How has this gone from doing push ups to beating the shit out of someone?

I could do about 100-120 without stopping last year

now I'm fucking pathetic, can barely do 30-40.

It's amazing how fast the body declines when not being pushed.....

Is turning off caps lock also an alien concept to you?

My thought process goes like this:

Finds push up handles in my loft.
Try to do some push ups.
FInd it tough.
Want to improve.
Go to PC and look up push ups.
Find the push up challenge.
Decide ill give it a go to better my technique and increase strength.
While on PC I see DSF is open.
Remembers the site is becoming stagnant.
Decide to create thread to create discussion.
People happily contribute.
Dickhead who has difficulty grasping thread spoils it. :t:
