No, Tim Smith is a serious composer. *They're just one of those bands you have to "get". *Not being an elitist prick or nothing, 9 out of 10 people reaction to Cardiacs is to say "what the fuck is this? is this a joke band?" so I'm well used to it. The thing with Cardiacs is that if you do "get" them chances are they will become your favourite band in the world and make all other music seem shit by comparison
