Brostep's hated status is largely down to jealousy.

Women, for example, are traditionally not found at 'real' Dubstep nights, and those that do attend are often homely and unkempt. Brostep, on the other hand, has a large percentage of attractive young ladies, often near or around the legal drinking age of 21, wearing revealing outfits. Their bodies are often toned due to a combination of intense cardiovascular exercise, amphetamine assisted dieting and occasional/frequent vomiting. Their attractiveness is also bolstered by the fact they are often 'on it', referring to illegal drug ingestion, and thus their standards re; sexual partners are diminished.

Also, whilst more traditional Dubstep artists such as Mala and Loefah make so little money that they are forced to drive around in cheaply available Eastern European hatchback cars, Brostep's elevated and consistent revenue stream has meant artists such as Borgore and Skrillex are able to purchase several top end motor vehicles at a time.

And why do the UKF events (the stuff some people here call Brostep) get all the girls? *cackles* Slightly ironic I guess, but whatever makes you feel better
