There's nothing marketable about this no offense. Your lead synth sounds like the same massive patch everyone uses. I like the Pad sounds and the melody isnt bad but it needs more character. It sounds like 'generic dubstep'. With all that said you got production skillz but i dont think this specific song reflects that too well. I definately wouldnt send it out to labels if thatwhat you meant by marketable

thank you so much for the honesty! i am gonna work on this hopefully to the point that it is able to be sent to labels. i use operator, ableton's native synth, i hate using massive, it's really buggy on my system. the leads not a preset, but i didn't take very long on it, one of those "good enough" moments. i'll probably upload another version soon, i'd love if you gave feedback on that as well...

I wish i could give better feedback but my production abilities aint too advanced yet. Theres plenty of knowledge from the other members here, so search around the production forum, theres a lot to learn. I do have good ears tho yea ill listen (the mods wont let you have two topics on the same song even if its a better version btw so your prob best off posting a new version in this one)

i use fl studio and massive. lol. But the bass structure just really hurts. You should try clearing out the sub bass right before the drop and see what happens [:
