I'll have another go at it after I get myself back to the gym. It shouldn't be too difficult as I'm surrounded daily by at least 300 guys who seem to have serious gym/food routines/fixations
i used to think the same way but it's easy if you prepare the night before. this is my diet (obviously yours would be different because mine is a low fat/high protein)

Meal 1 - Breakfast (weetbix)
Meal 2 - protein shake (before workout)
Meal 3 - protein shake (after workout)
Meal 4 - Lunch (tuna or chicken sandwich/rice)
Meal 5 - Carrot Sticks/Wheat Cracker & hummus
Meal 6 - Dinner

you need to try and increase your current calorie intake to 3000+ per day. Check out the bodybuilding forum as it is an absolute wealth of knowledge for people in your situation.
Thanks for that, I'll give a variation of that diet a go - I'll definitely need to fit in a snack/meal of some sort late afternoon anyway as after work's about the only time I'd go to the gym. Not sure about the whole protein shake thing, might make it seem a bit too serious  . Might have more hummus and nuts maybe. I doubt my calorie intake is significantly less than 3000+ per day at the moment.

havent done any in months due to an injury but at my fittest I could do 70 fast and hard at a time, I do a variation of a reg push up, i go all the way down chest to the ground, hands off the floor and then back up.
At work we do push ups whenever we get some downtime, push up pyramids if anyone is familiar with them. Start from 1-10 and then back down to 1, you do them in a group one person at a time, plank while you are waiting your turn, it works out too around 100 pushups, great workout, very tough but easy to see your gains and improvements.

Just tried it. Got to 18, but I'm wearing gear that I'm going out in so I stopped before I got sweating. Reckon I could of gone to 24-26 at a push.

Gonna start this 100 push up challenge regime tomorrow. :4:
