Re: Next production challenge...suggestions for genre?
only if you don't own a hardware sampler hehBudSpencertron wrote:dnb and jungle sounds really nice but jungle is really hard to make
akaizer could substitute for that

Re: Next production challenge...suggestions for genre?
i don't have any hardware, very new to the music, but i think it would be a lot of fun
maybe we can start our own little comp for whoevers interested?
I'm just into the idea of trying my hand at uptempo breakbeat with bass
I have to listen to more of it first though, really don't know what I'm talking about for the most part

Re: Next production challenge...suggestions for genre?
no current genres please.
jungle would be cool, drumfunk would be cool, 2000-2005 era harder/looptechno would be cool, grime would be awesome, breakstep, garage (and none of that future garage bullshit), industrial, heck even chiptune would be something different
seriously why make a fucking trance or progressive house or electro or moombahton or trap or brostp or dnb comp if a: everyone is doing that anyway and b: thanks to the american "edm" scene it all sounds the same just with a different drumbeat.
please, no sidechained whitenoise supersaw distorted bassline same old pad chopped vocal omg its got a piano its so beautiful shit
psytrance is ok just dont be surprised when all entries sound the same

I don't think this will be the case but that's just my opinion.hasezwei wrote: psytrance is ok just dont be surprised when all entries sound the same
I can tell you know I will make a far different sound to most.

nah fuck jungle, this or noise.JTMMusicuk wrote:gabber or breakcore
Re: Next production challenge...suggestions for genre?
does anyone else actually want to make gabber, breakcore or noise
i don't get the appeal
especially for a comp
i doubt anyone would be interested enough in the tracks to listen and vote on them all
