There was a weird kid in my tutor group (form, or whatever you call it). Quite a short lad with REALLY thick glasses. You know the sort. Used to bring his Playstation in everyday (he also used to bring in the first Scream film and watch it over and over ha), until his mum came in one morning (stinking of booze) screaming that his (step) dad was on his way in with his bat to get his Playstation back (LOL). He told her to eff off and promplty legged it (with the PS ).

More sad than funny I suppose.

He had a habit of throwing chairs at people when they annoyed him. Was quite funny as he went really red just before he'd do it, so we'd often provoke him into it haha.

He also, whilst at some party and a girl was passed out drunk, decided to put his hand down her pants (rumour has it someone dared him, but anyway..). She woke up whilst he was doing it and screamed. He got beaten up, and the girl threatened to call the police. Although I don't think she did. He got ripped beyond belief for this, telling him he was going to go to jail etc etc and ended up leaving the school.

Saw him around a few months ago (ignored him) with a couple of toddlers that I assumed were his. They both were wearing glasses, so I'm pretty sure they were haha.

One kid who was obviously mentally deficient in some way, smart as fuck but unable to socially interact with people. Kinda kid who used to stay in playing fucking weird games on the pc's (I remember one being a platformer where a naked guy shoots semen at girls on screen), and go mad at the drop of a pin. He used to get it bad man, kids used to deliberately wind him up and he lost in all kinds of ways. Lobbed a computer out of a window of a four story building, tried to kill a mate of mine with an axe (saved by someone rugby tackling him on the downswing of the axe!), ripped all his clothes off and stormed through the centre of Bristol, threatened to create a robot that would spit acid and melt all of us and eventually threatened to kill himself by throwing himself down a 4 story stairwell. He didn't last long, got moved to a special needs school, thank fuck, before something bad happened to him.

Even at the time I thought it was sad, but I was a kid, so it was still fucking hilarious when he used to lob chairs around and generally go spastic.

it's not other children's fault that a person who so obviously needs special care and attention is integrated into normal school life for no other purpose than to save council tax money.
It's a disgrace that the local authority would let him be in that environment in the first place and extremely naive to think children are anything other than tribal little shits who will do anything to get a cheap laugh.

I dunno, integrating them is probably for the best. They should get used to being around others fairly soon otherwise life will probably be much harder and they won't be prepared. I was in some after school thing for a while that helped out the special needs kids, we got assigned one to be a 'big brother' to. Hang out, help with work, etc. I definitely noticed positive changes in most of them before the year was up. Of course, there are cases where someone needs full care all day and it wouldn't work out well. Then you have to worry about it hindering other students in class too.

But you're right, a watchful eye needs to be kept because kids are mean as hell. I remember someone knocking a paraplegic boy out of his wheelchair. There was also a kid with cancer who wore a hat to hide his lack of hair/eyebrows and kids would constantly knock it off his head to embarrass him.

For the record I only took part in provoking him to throw chairs...which wasn't particularly difficult. It was incredibly funny. Telling the kid he was gonna go to jail was a bit beyond my level...Kids are kids, and kids a horrible.

One of the best things to happen was this deaf kiddy. He was proper deaf, to the point it affected his speech (my school had a 'Unit' which meant we had loads of kids with varying disabilities (not me before you try it) and he was particularly bad). A bunch of the bigger boys in my year used to mock him for the way he spoke by pretending to chat like him....to his face All the time. On and on. He used to get SO vexed.

Then one day in the changing rooms he switched. He knocked out one of the hardest kids in the year. Sparko. I waited for the other lads to pounce on him, but all they could do was stand back in disbelief.

Was an enjoyable moment for all of us who witnessed.
