Hjälpa means 'To Help', and stjälpa basically means 'tip over'. Inte means 'don't', or 'not'. We can be crafty when it comes to these thingsRandoRando wrote:^^^how does it mean 5 different english words, when there is only 2 swedish words there. lol
well three swedish words but you only changed the first two letter on the second one lol

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Ok, so everyone says use EQ modulation for more of a vowely effect, but if I boost those frequencies (lets say in 300Hz range) wouldn't it just make the track super muddy? Also the bass loses its dynamics when you do that. How would one fix these issues and keep the bass nice, neat and harmonically rich in sound?

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
its a matter of synth and how you automate everything, even the slightest changes can drastically alter its sound, and boost generously where the formant filters has diminished in the frequency spectrum.

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Alright this new growl-y type bass sound that I keep hearing more and more all of a sudden is driving me nuts, here are some examples:
@1:02 etc.
@1:09, I fucking HATE this unoriginal thieving tnuc, but again this sound keeps coming up so I want to master it and keep up
Hell I even heard it in one of the random Make It Bun Dem remix submissions:

They've all got that similar crunchy yet wet and growly sound, anyone got any ideas?

Heres what I got now

The comments are what vowel types I EQed. I got a little carried away with playing the first one sorry.
And tribeat I love your roar. I don't know how you figured out how to use modern talking like that to get that wide/raspy sound, but its great.

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Ill post a snippet of a new project in a moment, very unsure where to go with it tho. There are SO many options to progress from a basic bass patch im kinda lost. :p

Here's updated version of my growl:

There is better automation and it's without shitty drum loop, so you can hear how awesome this growl is.![]()

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
I second that, I'm more interested in the foundation patch but I'm interested in the EQ settings as well (I use my own specific model that I haven't deviated from in a while so I'd like to see how others do vowels). The "wuh" part at the end actually sounds quite close to my question, with just a little vocoding it might be that bass sound.Italus wrote:Coolschmid wrote:Heres what I got now
