Re: THE SECRET NINJA DUBS CLUB
Hello Ninjas, just here to spam a new free album I've put up. The remains of my unreleased work I was able to recover after a hard-disk crash - some of it's a bit dubsteppy, but will appeal to those of you on more of an electronica/downtempo/vaguely-experimental tip.
Anyway, download away at http://cogidubnus.bandcamp.com/album/transit

Snare and baseline is sick! I really like your A.B.S tune as well, it got me moving because of its groove!Gewze wrote:Soundcloud

Nice johney
Here's a final version of the tune I posted last week if anyone is interested.
Way more progressive than usual.
Let me know what folks think and if anyone wants a copy.

Ez fellas, not posted in this thread for a bit and thought i'd update ya with a new bit I'm still sort of fiddling with, slow 111bpm stomper:

Here's some feedback on what's on this page, really busy at present so will get round to commenting on tunes posted a few pages back when I have a little more free time.
@Collige, that's a sick intro, love the bitcrushed vocals, reminds me of Arkist's way of doing crushed vocals. Drops nicely with a really fat and warm synth/bass. Perc is nice and juicy with lots of decent layering. Like how this tune sort of fills out as it progresses and then leads in to brief moments of space. Nice riddim bruv.
@Rayman, Intro is classy. Nice washed out vibe to it. Love the drum programming, a real throw back to the good 90's hip hop. Melody is penetrative and leads my mind into nice comfy places. Bass isn't too obtrusive and compliments the track well. Only slight concern I have is that high end triangle type perc, I fid it a little unsettling and a bit too regimented to sit well with the laid back vibe the other instruments provide (unless this is entirely intentional, if so, bravo for making me feel unsettled, there aint many tracks that can!).
@chekov, Jeez the sub and kick sit well together, maybe a tiny bit too much decay on the verb of the kick for my tastes but it aint a big issue. Vocals are haunting. Love the stabs, proper dubtechno style. Really good track, 320? Sort of ting i'd play on my radio show.
