Aurokh - Sojourn (Chillout-ish)

Post by Aurokh » Tue Sep 11, 2012 9:45 am

Hi guys, first track I've made with a new philosophy. Tried to add more variation into the track and not make it boring, not sure if that's been succesful. DL available on the soundcloud if wanted.

Any feedback would be much appreciated. :W:

Nice track, i just think that the base in the first section needs work. It sounds too static just bland if you know what i mean. Try buffing it up with more sub :) I love the second half of the track and the indian samples and sitar are WICKED!!! lovely production also just think that kick could be a bit more punchy as well as the snare, Try to compress them a little more to bring them out. :) lovely synth chords!

I most definitely like the eastern/ asian vibe, and the 2drop was good. Altho i wasn't a big fan on the wobble baseline on the drop, i rather liked the more subtle baseline on the 2nd drop.
A brand new song!

Cheers for the feedbacks! I was sitting on the first half of the tune for a while, then sorta came back to it and added to it for the second part, so it's ended up sounding kind of piecemeal. I'm still trying to learn about how to get my drums sounding punchier and I can see now theyre a bit weak. Something to work on!
