Spotify Playlists
Lets have your best spotify playlists, I bump spotify near all day when working (if not on soundcloud), so I have a few playlist that have been carefully pruned for maximum enjoyment.
Ease Me In
http://open.spotify.com/user/petet/play ... lqkDej3SM4
Early morning, hangover, intro to the working week. A bit sombre in places, but this playlist has calmed my inner rage many a time.
Prodigy - The Good Stuff
http://open.spotify.com/user/petet/play ... Q0KhmsRzGe
Does what it says on the tin.
All day, every day, every damn day
http://open.spotify.com/user/petet/play ... Zoil6C13xU
Pure balling hiphop. Car music.
Cranking on the dancefloor
http://open.spotify.com/user/petet/play ... 2bJgtVGmV8
My penchant for fucking emo dance music is not unknown. This is my favourite playlist.
Hype Hype Pschua Pschua
http://open.spotify.com/user/petet/play ... k3bwo4pcic
All bangers.
Watch us wreck the mic, Psyche
http://open.spotify.com/user/petet/play ... xFiinxqAvn
Not a PJ & Duncan tribute. Psychadelic Rock.
Soul Motive
http://open.spotify.com/user/petet/play ... ybYgLd4Fy0
Got to plug it somewhere haven't I.
Any suggestions for these playlists, or other playlists, link us up.

Never used Spotify really. Thought every label under STholdings took their music off?

It's like netflix but for music. Pay 9 dollars a month and get access their entire music catalog + pandora style radio + apps...songs can be downloaded to all of your devices (encrypted) or streamed.Reverb wrote:can someone explain what spotify is

Yeah they did, was really annoying tbh and kinda short sighted on ST's behalf.
That's pretty much it, just been bumping the new Mala in Cuba album: http://open.spotify.com/album/7zWvRIE92oA89f72ILOgMA Well worth checking out.kohler wrote:It's like netflix but for music. On the whole Sporify is much better for non dance music genres, but the decent labels tend to add their stuff to it. But Spotify has basically enabled me to find out how much I love Psychedelic Rock, which is a lot.

Re: Spotify Playlists
I think you only get 5 plays per song or 4 hours a month on free or something, crappy bit rates and not the entire catalogue. it's annoying, it just used to have ads but you could use it continuously when I first got it. but the ads were soooo annoying (and I wanted to sync my iphone and ipad) I started the tenner a month premium package.ehbrums1 wrote:I've yet to see what I have to pay for......been using quite a bit

Re: Spotify Playlists
The 5 plays per song are only for people in the UK and France. No sense paying for it here in the states unless you want it on your mobile.pete bubonic wrote:I think you only get 5 plays per song or 4 hours a month on free or something, crappy bit rates and not the entire catalogue. it's annoying, it just used to have ads but you could use it continuously when I first got it. but the ads were soooo annoying (and I wanted to sync my iphone and ipad) I started the tenner a month premium package.ehbrums1 wrote:I've yet to see what I have to pay for......been using quite a bit

This?
Re: Spotify Playlists
They got rid of that. With my free account (which I got back years ago when it was a more basic service) I can play whatever I want as much as I want just with adverts every so often.pete bubonic wrote:Racist mother FUCKERS!SCope13 wrote:The 5 plays per song are only for people in the UK and France. Honestly while it is really very useful to have I'm still not that much of a fan of it. Just use it to check stuff out a few times before I end up buying it. You're still sat at a computer and it's only 320kbps if you pay for subscription. It's literally just useful for finding new stuff, exploring a band or artists large back catalog or having the odd one track here and there you want to hear without buying and album. Or also tiding you over until you can afford more music to buy
