Most Dubstep is halfstep?

I have never heard a 2step brostep track.

I guess electro-house/complextro can be called 2-step brostep ...but most dubstep/brostep turned into halfstep (considered "dub" tempo? but kinda nonsense) ...hm, actually it's not really halfstep, it's halftempo, to make any sense.. some messed up definitions, i'm confusing myself..

2step is a specific kind of rhythm and beat, not just a tempo. If it's 4-to-the-floor like electro house it isn't 2step. Also: electro-house is usually around 128bpm, not 140

we are talking about brostep, and electro-house could be seen as a bro2step then not because of the tempo, since "step" is not the same as "tempo"... anyway, "halftempo" does not refer to a specific tempo, it's ehm, like "halftime" then? :p it doesn't make sense to call it halfstep, since the beat is not structured in half steps in same sense that a 2step is supose to be structured in two steps (skipping every second step, or beat, or whatever the explanation is)

i guess when you amend "-house" to "electro" it implies that its 4x4 electro, so not 2step
but yeah theres plenty electro that's more or less bro filth 2step

good 2step imo is syncopated tho, and most of the elctro is very straight beats (i.e. kick/snare/kick/snare) as though it were just 4x4 with the second and fourth kicks replaced with a snare

hehe, yes, if you turn reggae into dub and THEN it can become dubstep... but skip the dub transformation, then it makes sense to call something reggaestep.. the video i called reggaestep (kinda jokingly, just to be safe if someone would say "it's not dub") was more reggae than dub..

dubstep is just a genre of music

what style you dance to the music is up to you

most use popping, liquid, robotics, krump and animation to dance to dubstep. those styles are what i use when i dance to dubstep.

just keep that in mind spread the education
