I've been asked to DJ at a PSy Trance party at the end of the month.
I haven't played dark psy in probably 2 years now.
I think I may have to educate and play some hefty bass music at the wee dark hours of the morning.

Any suggestions for darker tunes in the 147-155 bpm range?

Serious question requiring answers.

like i said, it's subjective for the most part. it sounds warmer, whether or not that warmth is good comes down to the individual.

tunes are also mastered a bit differently for vinyl

Ok so what about the fact that you are paying more for a product that deteriorates the more you use it...

it's unfortunate, probably my least favorite thing about buying vinyl

still totally worth it to me though, i mean you really do have to play them a lot to really wear them down considerably. the better your needles are the longer your vinyl will last too

see all this needles and shit...and the fact that it deteriorates... and paying stupid amounts of money

not worth having a "warmth" to the sound....in my opinion i'd rather save my money and buy em for a $1-2

Theres something nice about physically owning tracks,

I just rip everything (if I can't get digital, of course). Only care about the music tbh, not the whole product.
