What sort of stuff are you into?

There's always some cool shit happening out East.. lots of smaller boutiquey galleries (Proud etc), worth doing some Googling on the dates.

For the more obvious stuff, a couple of days is never enough (I've been here 7 years and I'm still going places for the first time), but the British Museum is well worth a wander about to see all the fancy shit we stole during our glory days, The National Gallery and Tate Britain are both much better than Tate Modern, but Modern's a pretty cool walkabout too.

Really enjoyed the Saachi Gallery with Luke and Jimmy at the weekend near Sloane Square... great market next door with pennnnnnnngers [ (c)DubLuke ] steak sandwiches and pretty girls in abundance.

My favourite museum is the Victoria and Albert. There's no real theme, it's just full of cool shit... entire bits of achitecture, art, fashion, ancient jewellery and for about half of each year the best sculpture in the world - The Veiled Lady by Monti:

If I'm ever feeling too nutty for other people I have a spliff and go and hang out with her for a bit.
EDIT: I'm guessing you can't get away with a spliff or 2 inside like you can @ System?
The Dome's pretty special for that tbh... there's a few places you can get away with it, but a spliff at Fabric's probably a good way to find yourself crumpled in a gutter in Farringdon. Bouncers at superclubs don't fuck about...

Yeah that was a really cool afternoon all in all, that room with all the crude oil was a bit mental... and yes those steak sandwiches were bloody phenomenal

I remember a few years back having a joint stolen by a bouncer.
He didn't ask me to leave or anything, just took the joint.
We watched him smoking the J with the owner and later staring starry eyed at the crowd.
I strolled over to the owner and bouncer and asked if they enjoyed the mushroom joint :D

The owner took me to the vip bar and bought me shots for fucking them up

Beautiful!

A couple of the funniest moments I've had in clubs were down to bouncers or club staff rumbling people but not kicking them out... Rats jumping out of his SKIN when a bouncer nicked his spliff at System the other month... and then a bit later, just as I was trying to hand-to-hand a bag of MD with LASERGirl, I felt a light shining on the back of my head... looked round and there was a fucking BBC CAMERA staring right at us. Absolutely shat myself. Good evening, Auntie...

haha im almost scared to see the footage when it shows up

Yeah its Fabric, I find it hard to outright HATE it as to be honest I was one of those people that turned up 2/3+ years ago with no clue other than that it was Dubpolice night and Caspa was playing (on my birthday )
It was also the first time id done MD and alot of my friends were just drunks so tourist to the max
So yeah I was one of those people I get wound up at now

I think if you can carve out at spot it can be a good time and Oneman was a fun time still. Not being a smoker and free water helps (fuck drinking in there outside of the token one on arrival)
My friends back from the USA that weekend so its a good a excuse as any to go really.

Still not been to corsica..

Oh yeah and it only took four months but ive sold my old bike seat for £20 after having something like 16 diffrent timewasters contact me!

Finally got through to Crowdsurge and got two tickets for The xx.

Means I'm seeing both Bon Iver and The xx in November, both with the girl I'm seeing. Should be great :h:
