Slime welcomes to the label a fresh new talent hailing from Cardiff who goes by the name of Sker. Drawing his inspiration from the current bass music scene, Sker is happy producing in any style, be it garage, house, drum & bass or beyond. However, it was his take on laidback electronica that really grabbed our attention, and here he provides two incredible tracks that are truly sublime.
'Sunrise' drifts in on melancholy strings and slow motion percussion that builds into a glittering crescendo before spaced-out guitar licks wash over the track and will have you reaching for the high grade in no time.
'Dusk' takes the melodic vibe of the former and straps it to a laconic autonomic beat. Subtle chords ensnare the beat as ascending strings and piano keys do their work and pull you deeper into its twilight mood.
