Iphone update that I left running overnight left me with a red hot phone and a warning to restore in the morning.
Plugged it in having only 30mins to get ready and leave for a dentist appointment.

It takes 40mins to get to a (BLANK!) working state just so i can recive calls/texts for the day.

Miss my dentist appointment by 5mins because of the phone mess and have to get another for next week (I cant check my calender due to phone so I guess that im free then)

Then have to walk 45mins to work as I got dropped in town for dentist. On the way I manage to spill coffee on myself checking the time.

Arrive and plug my phone into the itunes I just downloaded onto work PC, to find that there is no trace of my icloud backup. So yeah blank phone and no contacts

Well apparently at some point I told it to backup whenever it was charged/connected to wifi and something else as it has the info I just need to be on wifi to get it back

Every cloud has a silver lining and all that would be that during the update mess I bought Torchlight 2 and it will be ready to play when I get home!

Reading the casefile for one of the young girls my company works with... it's so fucking grim, she's in an abusive relationship but she seems to get off on being smacked around and tortured by this guy, social services are going mental now because they don't know what to do and no matter what we do to try and stop it she still keeps seeing him and its now becoming apparent that the reason she likes being mistreated so much is because it reminds her of her childhood.

It's so horrible, the girls only 16 for christ sake, she came into the office with a black eye and covered in cigarette burns the other day and she doesn't even acknowledge how fucked up and wrong it is that she lets this guy do it to her.

I probably just massively breached confidentiality posting that but just keeping it to myself has grimmed me out so much. Sometimes I really fucking struggle to get to the end of the day working here
