Little Help
Hello guys.
I will start production classes on a near future, and I know problably I will talk about this.
Currently im just exploring working stations and get to know more about electronic music, how things work.
So my question is, can somebody properly explain me how music labels work?
Their responsable for booking right?
When you sign to a label and start sellings EP's, how many % of the sells you receive? A friend that told me that the label takes more than 50% of your sells.
If you ofter give shows, you have nice sounds and a nice fanbase , is really hard to find a labell?
Label finds you, or your need to submit any tipes of "curriculums" to different labels?
If somebody could explain me the right way I would really aprecciate,
Sorry the bad english, not my native language.

Re: Little Help
send me a pm if you speak portuguese or spanish.
Labels make comercial releases of your music. They also take care of promotion, networking, mastering and, sometimes, bookings. Profit shares are a matter of contract. For more info refer to the thread Ehbrums linked.

Re: Little Help
actually, there's a brazillian native language, it's called tupi. It's was the official language until mid 1700s, we still use some of the words and names.ehbrums1 wrote:I thought you spoke BrazilianHircine wrote:send me a pm if you speak portuguese or spanish.
