I still don't think this question was answered properly. Would you genuinely recommend someone to drop e on at an event instead of having a few drinks? Are you taking e as much you used to drink? What is more likely to kill you suddenly?

yeah i would recommend dropping e rather than getting drunk, but i wouldn't recommend doing e more often than once every few months, it's a pretty "special" thing and you won't get the max enjoyment out of it if you do it all the time. no you're hopefully not but i already answered why that's a bad comparison. and alcohol is pretty likely to kill you by itself and is a factor in a huge no. of assaults, rapes etc whereas a large % of ecstasy deaths aren't really ecstasy or are the result of mixing drugs

& people keep pointing to the fact people consume a LOT of alcohol VERY frequently as some kind of benchmark, as though the amount a lot of people routinely drink isn't incredibly damaging
