Can we create new colors in our mind?

I read some time ago about combinations of colours resulting in new colours that the eyes don't process well. I'll try to dig up the article.

I've read this, it's like when you hold up a colour over an eye and look at another strong colour and it all just becomes a flickering mess, that's your brain not being able to precess the colours. Or some shit like that.

It probably isn't, unless you are colourblind. I have a mate who can't distinguish between browns oranges and greens very well and he often gets them mixed up. Kinda funny sometimes

i think there was a horizon special a while ago, basicaly the colors we see don't exsist. Like red isn't really red, but infact our brains make up the color from light reflections or something. was a really interesting watch.
