Re: Dubstep with no massive!
Lol massive isn't the only plugin out there that can make earth shattering bass, but hell it's convienient. No need to forgo it though!
Anyways, nice track, feeling the groove with this one. Might need to finish that outro though!

Re: Dubstep with no massive!
how can it possibly be dubstep if you didn't use massive

Re: Dubstep with no massive!
You use FM8? Although people will probably bash you for wanting to be like skrillex. I reckon he uses massive more than he says he does though...Today wrote:how can it possibly be dubstep if you didn't use massive

those r the only 2 real dubstep instruments obvz

Razor is good aswell, not to mention harmless and harmor by image line. I also prefer Sytrus to FM8, more flexibility and I've found it works better with ohmicide. I'm currently working on replicating Scatta-type growls with it.Today wrote:those r the only 2 real dubstep instruments obvz
Poizone is a good subtractive synth that's awesome for old school wobbles. Zeta+ and Sylenth are amazing for leads, plucks and arps.
Not sure if serious or being sarastic, but sarcasm doesn't show very well online....

This isn't bad at all. Pretty fuckin' good job man. It inspired me to try out FM8. Nice and heavy melody and rhythms, and they're really well mixed. KEEP IT UP!
