i duno i just can't help thinking the mastering fucked up or something, coz the peps saying it aint too bassy must have worse tinnitus then me. The low end is way too high for me. first album i bought 2 of but am gonna probly put my spare boxset on discogs. Don't get me wrong i'm not super angry or anythin just my god that over the top bass is something else. i hate having to play a tune with either too little bass or enough bass but suffer that shit sound

Why did you need 2 in the first place? Why do so many people buy 2? I have spun some records over 100 times and can't tell any difference in sound quality. Its people like you that means that 1000 copies don't reach 1000 people. I understand you have done it because you love Mala like the rest of us, but there really is so little logic in owning two copies. What exactly did you have in mind for that second copy?

well considering i have about 600 vinyl, i only have doubles of a few reggae albums i love every track. apart from that i only have 3 dubstep doubles in my whole collection and they are mala changes/forgive heny g arena1/retro love and mala in cuba. so sorry but it's not people like me atall. Please don't get me mixed up with people that buy more then 1 copy of some tunes knowing they will make a big profit by selling, because i have never done so, and like i said b4 i only have 3 dubstep doubles and a few reggae doubles. As the album is amazing i wanted 2 copies in case i damaged the first copy.

mate i would love to have 2 copys of all the vinyl i love but i can barely just afford the few vinyl i buy now.
i just know every time i bought a double i'd miss out on a new or old release.
not only that but i'd get addicted and have to buy a double or everything and i'd end up ironicly selling crack just to pay for my growing vinyl addiction.

yea, i agree. the sub is definately NOT louder than on some old loefah or skream records. i like that raw sound. in fact i noticed that on a lot of new records you have to turn up the bass a little to make the tune stand up to said old ones. even on some vivek/commodo/whatever records, which are pretty sub heavy compared to that flat rubbish that's floating around nowadays.

Nah mate, it's only 43hz. Compare that to Breakage - Rain or Benga - Zombie Jig and it's not unreasonably low at all

hmmm well I'm just comparing it to a lot of other tunes, it seems like it's a good octave lower than most. I could be wrong though


one tune with a really low sub is Tunnidge's Dark Skies - I have a feeling when played on a large system that would DESTROY though

Sub bass in dubstep is ALWAYS the loudest part in the mix... run any dubstep track through a frequency analyzer and you'll always see a massive spike in the sub freqs

i think too much dubstep these days sounds overly produced, the rawness of the early stuff definitely added to the sound. its why a lot of the 'dungeon' stuff sounds kinda bland and unmemorable imo
