reaktor, s layer

who knows anything about reaktor? wiki says its "a graphical modular software music studio." and "It lets musicians and sound specialists design and build their own instruments, samplers, effects and sound design tools." Sounds like something i would like but dont really have time for unfortunately, But i found some thing called S layer now this thing looks fun but its used in reaktor now how does that work if reaktor is basically the same thing? is reaktor a PLUG in for a daw like Ableton or Fl? Or does it have the sequencers and other composing tools that i havent found yet? Can someone help me out? what is reaktor, and how do i use S layer in it? Oh and one last thing am misunderstanding this or does S layer have a sequencer or different banks that you can loop?
