I'm a big fan of Fat Freddy's Drop, their Based On A True Story is the big thingy. Joe Dukie has a fabulous voice and his collaboration with Boozoo Bajou titled Take it Slow is brilliant, just perfect.
NZ has some great dub jazzy vibes, bringing some good artists, Salmonella Dub is nice as well.

Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

How great are they live!!!

...helps that Joe Dukie is an absolute HUNK!!! Gosh
i'll take your word on that dolly, i was quite far away and drunk on pear cider.
actually i was slightly disappointed with their set, but thats only cos i arrived nearly halfway thru and was expecting to hear basically the songs from the album, but it was different stuff. was still great, but that album is very very special

Yeah, went to Astoria a few weeks ago and they must have played like 2 tracks from '.......true story'. Bit gutted myself but they ended the show with an amazing version of This Room, perfect!spooKs wrote:i'll take your word on that dolly, i was quite far away and drunk on pear cider.
