Xone 22 or DJM 250

Post by shaunlee0 » Wed Oct 03, 2012 4:27 pm

Struggling to make the decision between a Allen & Heath Xone 22 mixer and a pioneer DJM250 i know both are high quality mixers but wanted some opinions of people who maybe own either of these.

Help me out fellow headz

Cheers

Xone each and every.
Pioneers are OK and they are in most clubs for some reason (although probably not the 250) but A&H build quality is far superior. Every A&H I've heard sounds better than the equivalent Pioneer. The Xone 22 filter and EQs will piss all over the 250's 'filter' too.

Also A&H is based in Falmouth so you need to support them as a Cornishman :)

I've had my Xone:22 for about 3 years now, best 2 channel mixer for it's price imo. The filters are lovely as well

The filter looks easier to operate on the 250 but i love the quality of the A&H also is the filter easy enough to use? selecting the channel then the type of pass seems abit of hassle compared to the 250 but it may be worth it fo the better filter.
Yeah penryn boy, nice to see some cornish on dsf!

Unless you're constantly flipping between filter types (which in itself is a click away), all you have to do is click to turn in on and off which isn't any different than any other mixers effects
