I'm just amazed all you could see was the swearing. The swearing's occasionally brilliant and it's pretty in your face when Malcolm or his little Scottish apprentice Jamie are around, but the main attraction is the ridiculous situations the MPs and press officers get themselves into all the time. Nicola Murray's "3rd sector" was pretty much the Big Society before the Tories even announced the Big Society. Utterly amazing.

The first series was a bit weak, I thought... some great moments, but the first one with Rebecca Front in it is just brilliant. It's been quite a while since I can remember a word coined in a satire ("omnishambles") showing up in the House of Commons too. Clearly, the front benchers are watching just as much as everyone else:

But yeah, Ed Milliband probably just likes watching shows with loads of swearing rather than relevant satires. He looks like the sort... probably watches Roy Chubby Brown to get ideas for jokes when he's writing his PMQs and The Thick Of It's between series.

I liked the first few episodes of that too, but it's not special enough to bother defending in this thread.

Think they're pushing Ryback too soon. He'd be better off with an IC reign and a decent showing/possible win at the Rumble at the start of next year.

He should take some wrestling classes and take notice of a person's weight before he tries to pick them the fuck up too. Poor old Fat Albert.

I cant bring myself to hate wrestling, its Eastenders dressed up as sport and doesn't really pretend to be anything else.

Are any wrestlers even remotely as cool as The Undertaker or Kane or Ultimate Warrior or Hulk Hogan, etc.
The new string of wrestlers are just shit.
Even back when, HHH and 123 Kid were cool to mention a few.
The new guys are just massive actors and bad at it.

The one i always remember, when Stone cold was pretending he'd been bitten on the face by some snake, then suddenly ripped the fake scars off and beat the shit out of someone in the locker room
