In my track, I too at times think at times the 'stuttering' to be slugrat.
Oh sorry, didn't see you :3Klesherdubs wrote:Can I get some tooooo ?? ^^^ @SMOR3S
Uh wrong one bro... LOL! DerpStep is on my self titled EP.. That track has been released for about 16 days now LOL!Klesherdubs wrote:@SMOR3S: hahah, yeah.. My friend mentioned that too, about it seeming to be all too much at once.. I need to go back and let it breathhh !!. hahh
and yeah I was just to lazy to move the perc around much really will get on thatt one famm..
alright
giving feedback as I listen to DerpStep... the melody on the intro is nicee.. could be quantize and chopped up a lil to flow better and swing with the groove,
breakdown is nice.. everything is clear and smooth, bass is reallll mellow deffo feeling the track, the perc is kinna getting repetitive thoughh..
the mixdown is timed well, it comes in fluidly into the beat.. that lil synth fits well with the trackk.. sidechaining is ace.. the only thing to change is maybe spice of the groove
the main melody, add some variation.. gives it a tickle to the ear, so they don't expect something or it just makes it all the more better...
and maybe relax on the vocal sample kinda kills the mood.. lets just hear the tune alonebut thats just me, perc, synth and BASS.. but the tune is well mastered, clear, and original !.. and thats the main priority being a original and good at it !, easy track mate.. big ups

Thank you :3.. I am a brony musician, so I thought it would be cool to do a UKF dubstep tutorial redux, but a pony style one... This is honestly my first Dubstep/Glitch track, cause I am a Trance/House artist, but you can still feel that really soft/melodic vibe, that I like incorporating into my tracks.. I really love feel good happy music..Klesherdubs wrote:Ohhhh Yeshh
yeah, I played this one over..
Im not really feeling the vocal sample at the beginning, just doesn't suit the trackk.. the kick is holy over the trackk.. Much power..,maybe soften it for the introo
for the drop, it took a lil while to get there, but we made it ! lol..
I think the track would sound smoother without the hesitant sample that bends over the drop then the track starts, but I understand, its a soft tune.. sounds are nice,
wobble has good rhythm.. had nodder deffo, good track all around.. you know what your doing bruv ! superb productionnn
Ya I did, but I have been learning a lot more about Mixing and Mastering now, so every track from here on out is going to be mixed by me :3mthrfnk wrote:Oh and smores, did you get your EP mixed/mastered by someone?
Who did you go with?SMOR3S wrote:Ya I did, but I have been learning a lot more about Mixing and Mastering now, so every track from here on out is going to be mixed by me :3mthrfnk wrote:Oh and smores, did you get your EP mixed/mastered by someone?
Some guy from this forum named Bennett.. I think he dipped after finishing my EP, cause I haven't heard from him since.. I mean, he did a pretty decent job (way better than what I could of done 1-2 months ago), but I have learned a lot more recently, especially how to EQ freq's better... I got like $300 saved almost, so I might drop that on some 5" KRK's, cause right now, all I am using for audio is a Scarlett 2i2, and some Monoprice 8323's.. Better headphones, than what I had, cause I was mixing on SteelSeries cans, for like a year :/mthrfnk wrote:Who did you go with?SMOR3S wrote:Ya I did, but I have been learning a lot more about Mixing and Mastering now, so every track from here on out is going to be mixed by me :3mthrfnk wrote:Oh and smores, did you get your EP mixed/mastered by someone?
no worries mateemthrfnk wrote:@Klesher Not trying to sound harsh, but I had to turn your WIP off - the highs are way too agressive (sounds like a combo of bass distortion and hihats), tame the high end down a lot in the mix because atm they're literally ear piercing. Aside from that I enjoyed the start.
