I went to a 60th a couple years back and noticed these little bacon wraps on the platter.
Took one expecting just bacon but it ended up being anchovies wrapped with bacon.
I spat it out while no one was watching.

as are tomatoes, raw and cooked, specially when they're grown in your garden and taste sweeter than apples you buy in shops

sour cream and cottage cheese im in full agreement tho.

This. Supermarket tomatoes are tasteless, but give me home grown anytime.

I didn't use to like fennel (because I hate aniseed), but then my mate prepared it simply pan frying with just a pinch of salt, and it was lovely. I put it in my veggie juice, too.

I love mushrooms. I want to add them everywhere. Cantarell soup, shiitake with soya sauce and rice vinegar, porcini & sauerkraut dumplings...

Which reminds me, I fucking love sauerkraut.
