oooh very edgy
nope not edgy at all.
never understood the hype and the fact people use that tune - which is just a pop artist's recording with some not particularly impressive drums and bass over the top - as some kind of introduction to dubstep is ridiculous (kinda like using burial when he sounds very little like anything else going on in the genre, except that burial is actually exceptionally good)
i doubt a trap remix would improve it but it's not a sacred cow by any means. ton of better original tracks, better remixes even.
i can feel you on the first part, but like you said, i dont really think there's really room for improvement with a trap remix
also i dont get how alicia gets so much more love than in luv
well obviously that bit was a joke but yea.
i sort of feel like keys' agency has been taken out of the track a bit by the way that people who've done other versions of it have acted like mala wrote the tune they're remixing, and she's just become a name / a voice

yeah its a bit silly, the benton remix for example
i dont see how thats actually a remix of mala's work
i think its because most people dont even realize how much of alicia consists of the original track. i mean although he did it masterfully imo, at the end of the day mala only added some drums and sub

Got the important shot off but I still lost so much shit! Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck
Tried thinking of this as starting fresh but then I realized its hard to start fresh in production when you can't even afford a shitty desktop

I normally enjoy stupid petty arguments on this forum, confessed guilty pleasure, but the last 6 pages or so were argued with such sincerity that it genuinely confused me and i couldn't enjoy it.

Grandparent's 90th birthday on sunday, have to go on some jazz cruise on the Thames. I suspect me and cousin will be the only people under 70 there and i get sick on every boat i've ever been on
I hadn't been in a legit "flame war" like that for a while
PS yeah In Luv is a sick tune too, I hate that both that and alicia are such rare white labels....maybe that sort of subconsciously adds to the appeal though
