I actually visited wilkes-barre once, not such a bad place. my cousin used to do science tech work for the EPA and they would send him all over the mid-atlantic region to check these machines that measured air quality.
long story short, he was in wilkes-barre on business and I drove up and we went to camelback. I love that mountian.
son, you def didn't stay here long enough to realize what i am talking about. it isnt THE worst place in the world. a lot of good here. BUT i am saying it has a bad rep and a lot of crack heads. and camelback isn't wilkes-barre. i never even been there.
I meant I stayed the night there on the way to camelback. I spent the night there friday night and we went snowboarding on saturday.
here's a map. 1 is the ski resort, and 2 is wilkes barre

word. i never go to the pocono area. i heard of camelback, but im telling ya, it def aint wilkes-barre....trust. at least south side is where im from and it's actually getting pretty ghetto and nasty. kind of like a smaller philadelphia. skiing is tough around this area though. and snowboarding. i don't get down with that cold stuff though.

it's pretty hard to find skiing and snowboarding of worth all up and down the east coast. you have to go all the way up in the mountains of West goddamn Virginia to get anything worth spending the night there for.

true.. but as far as east coast resorts go, camelback is dope. hella pretty too. a home girl of mine works there, and supposedly i have free lift if i make it.. but being broke and more concerned about vinyl than snow these days, i dont see that happening.
nex time you come through wilkes barre you should give the nepa dubstep massive a holler.
