Jimbeaux - Ergot (datsik/excision/melodic style)

A tune I did about a year ago. Tried incorporating some emotion in the builds with combining alot of sub-genre elements. Hope you guys enjoy, any feedback is greatly appreciated. I know the mix is rough, an it's not mastered at all. :u:

Interesting melody ideas, but felt the midrange was overpowering the kick a little bit too much in the mix.

like to hear some variation in terms of stereo separation, Everything is sounding a bit narrow at the moment. Nice synth patches though, some are pretty damn phat sounding. I agree with wub about the kick, but also think the snare could use some work as well.

They're not mastering issues, they're mixdown issues. Mastering won't help, if anything it'll just make it worse.
