I HAVE A PROBLEM, NEED HELP
I am new to producing and i am having this problem with my sub bass using operator, and my problem is that i have a nice sub sign wav with operator layered with a soft kick and my sub bass is kind of like runing in to my next sub and wobbling,, (sounds like shit) need to find a solution to this problem... if you layer two subs together thats the sound im getting.. any help would be great thanks..
Re: I HAVE A PROBLEM, NEED HELP
A solution is eq'ing and/or sidechaining.
Re: I HAVE A PROBLEM, NEED HELP
Cut the low freqs from your kick and maybe lowpass your sub.

Re: I HAVE A PROBLEM, NEED HELP
Either:
Your kick is interfering with the sub. EQ that, use another sample or sidechain.
Or:
Your sub notes are overlapping. Clean that up. Also see that the release on the sub notes isn't too long, as it may cause overlapping as well.

If your midi notes are overlapping change the "voices" setting in Operator to 1 (mono) so only one note can sound at a time.Disco Nutter wrote:Either:

Re: I HAVE A PROBLEM, NEED HELP
This problem generally comes from the release being too long. Shorten the release or set it to mono as mentioned above.
