Cosimo Metta a.k.a. MET, began his career as a drum&bass dj and scratch lover. In the year 2000 he started to organize and promote bassmusic events in north Italy, mostly in Bologne, as an ALTERED BEATS CREW member. Special guests of this events were drum&bass producers from all around the world, we remember: DYLAN & ROBIN CHAOS, TECHNICAL ITCH, N-PHECT, RAIDEN, B-KEY & VICIOUS CIRCLE. After several years he moved to Berlin, becoming part of a project called JOPREC (http://www.joprec.org/). JOPREC is an independant label situated in the German capital, also hosting shows, and doing business as a booking agency. DjMet`s first digital release came out on november 2008, the SUB DUB EP. This was the beginnig of several collaborations with other producers like KILLERALIEN, EVILBASS & CHOKE. His second Ep came out in june 2009 with the name of BAUSTELLE Ep on “JOPREC”. Nowadays DjMet is main man behind JopStepDivision, one out of five IMPULSE crews... Listen to his mix to get an impression!
