Im pretty sure my needles were made to break. Then cuz it is a cheap brand and product of turntable, they charge a ton for replacement needles. Turntable = Cheap, Replacement parts = 1/4 price of Turntable

If the torque is quite low, you can always hold the side of the record to cue.

i do this with my technics anyway, didn't realise it wasn't standard practice
