Inflect jumps in at the deep end...and we're bringing in extra subs for good measure!

Main Room:

Kryptic Minds (Osiris Music UK/Swamp 81/Tectonic)

Having built an enviable back catalogue of dark, deadly drum & bass, the production duo of Si & Leon aka Kryptic Minds have quickly established a foothold in the exploding global dubstep scene. As the flagship artists on Loefah DMZ’s label Swamp 81, their 12”s and album “One of Us” continued dubstep’s tradition for stone-cold halfstep, flying against the dancefloor’s natural urges for momentum and release. Instead they unleash fearsome sub bass assaults that lead listeners into an edgy otherworld and have become staples of sets by halfstep innovator Youngsta (Rinse FM) as well as Loefah himself.

2011 saw a new Album titled ‘Can’t Sleep’ which gained much praise; which led to them winning Album of the year at the Dubstep Forum, and they continue to excite crowds into 2012 with a new album in the making and some closely guarded forthcoming projects...

Thelem (Osiris Music UK/Black Box)

Inspired by the textures and soundscapes of artists such as Paradox, and drawing from other early influences including Hip-Hop, Grime and Drum & Bass, Thelem has carved out his own distinct style of production, which focuses on delivering expertly crafted bass frequencies, rhythmical variation and dark, minimal atmospherics. He is supported by some of the most influential selectors on the scene, with originators Youngsta, Distance and Chef unleashing Thelem's constructions on their legendary Rinse FM shows and on dance-floors across world.

Thelem is a captivating DJing talent, and armed with a formidable collection of exclusive dubs, he can be seen devastating bass bins in clubs all over Europe. With vinyl releases on Osiris Music UK, New Moon Recordings, Loft Party Records, and his own label Orientis and numerous projects in the pipeline, the future is bright for Thelem who is an integral part of the resurgence of the exciting and organic early dubstep sound.

Lung (Med School/Kokeshi)

He’s only 21 years old but already James Ellaway a.k.a Lung has collaborated with High Contrast, remixed London Elektricity and won the support of everyone from Annie Mac to Mary Anne Hobbs. The Cardiff based producer started making beats in 2008 had his first solo release in 2009 on Kokeshi. The track – “Afterlife” – went on to receive remix treatment from none other than Kryptic Minds, attaining widespread success and featuring on four separate compilations.

In 2011, Lung’s now iconic track “Relapse” was released on Med School as part of the “New Blood 011″ compilation album. Med School, recognising his talent, went on to sign Lung exclusively. He released a second tune on New Blood follow up “Blood Pressure” in March 2012, this time a collaboration with Joe Syntax and Eleven8 entitled “Red Rhythm”. The following month witnessed Lung’s debut solo release on Med School – the “Why Does Anyone Ever Do Anything?” EP – a four-track EP spanning the genres from D+B to dubstep and 120bpm, demonstrating his ability to produce captivating dance floor hits irrespective of genre boundaries.

Coleco (Soul Motive)

Coleco is currently a Bristol based musician, who has a taste in music that spans far across the genre landscape. Being influenced by everything from world music, funk, rock, and varying types of electronica, to his memories of 90s 8 bit video game music, Coleco channels his current efforts into the quickly evolving world of dubstep. Although dubstep is the name circling alot of his compositions, Coleco’s music is more of a genre defying exploration of sounds. All of his influences become clearly apparent in his music, as it takes you on a journey through deeply harmonic melodies, and heavy funk breakbeats, with deep, rippling bassline undertones. Coleco set dancefloors alight with his debut release "Campfire Funk" on Soul Motive, and has continued to bring the goods with following releases on Soul Motive and their sister label Two Floors Down featuring the talented vocalist Victoria Klewin.

Currently working on tunes incorporating his unique style of dubstep with the emergent sound of Footwork, and with collaboration tracks with the innovative Boxcutter in the pipeline, Coleco's sets are full of fresh, driving dancefloor rhythms with the same attention to detail and melody as shown in his previous releases.
