think my mom had one cd, and it was that lady smith black mambazo album with the banger from the heinz ketchup advert

people can like pink floyd for whatever reason, because it's like, totally epic, or because they want to sound like they smoke weed at home casually, doesn't fight the fact that pink floyd can blow themselves

I got well into Pink Floyd when I was a kid. I remember going to my mate's to play Warhammer and putting on Saucerful of Secrets, only for his mum to tell me I was a "poser" for liking it, despite the fact I was nine and had no idea who Pink Floyd actually were.

I can understand disliking Pink Floyd. They can't do it for everyone.

For me though...they are still the band I get the most joy from listening to.

All about that Gilmour guitar sound - makes my spine tingle.
