best way to install komplete 7?
ok so i will soon be receiving my komplete 7 and razor that i bought for $200. but i need to figure out the best way to install it. i have a 128gb ssd as my system drive. and i also have a 1tb hdd as my secondary drive. i have this same setup in both my macbook pro and my hackintosh. so now i have a few questions regarding the setup...
1. how many gb is komplete 7 total? also how many gb's in samples?
2. would the best way be to install the plugins etc on the system drive, then all of the samples on my secondary drive? if so how would i do this?
3. how many gb's would just all of the necessary plugin contents take up, excluding the samples and things i can put on the secondary drive?
any help is appreciated. thank you.

Re: best way to install komplete 7?
Install the plugins on the system drive and all the factory content on the secondary.
The factory content can be anywhere from 30gb upwards.
The executables are not as large by any means.

is there a certain way to do this in the install menu or will i have to manually move the other content from my system drive to the secondary?Electric_Head wrote:Install the plugins on the system drive and all the factory content on the secondary.

i just got komplete 7 and kontakt 4 disc b is failing to install. i searched it and there seems to be other people with the same issue but i cant figure out what to do. has anyone experienced this and got a solution?
Re: got komplete 7 - kontakt disc b failing????
Seeing as you bought the license, wouldn't you be able to just download the instal? I don't have Komplete, so I wouldn't know, but in this day and age that just makes sense no?

Quite a specific question, wouldn't you get better results posting on NI's own forum and support pages?

Best to got to NI user forum.
This is very specific as Depone says.
Just remember it is only really factory content you're installing.
You may not even use the content.
