Invader - Interpolation (Moombahcore)

Post by Xedox » Sun Oct 28, 2012 2:09 pm

Hi

This is a Moombahcore track i made using fl studio. If possible I would like to have some feedback regarding mix and arrangement. Im not sure if the subbass is too loud and i have the feeling that the guitar like synth seems to be a little bit muddy. I tried a lot with eqing but this was the best i could do. Would be awesome!

Thanks :D

Kick isn't smacking as much as I'd expect from this type of tune. Also, some of the hat programming feels a little rigid. Good piano sample in there though, adds a nice Linkin Park feel to thing with the guitar.

when i listen to it now i think your right with the kick. The thing with the hat programming. do you think that i should variate the velocity a bit more?

thanks

The velocity being varied would create some ghost hits which is one way of breaking things up. Another way would be to swing to the beats a bit more (program them off the grid) and try and build up some natural groove on them.
